Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Completion of the Maine College of Direct Support (ME CDS) (or willingness to complete upon hire).
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or authorization to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle with current insurance, registration, and inspection.
- Ability to pass all required background checks:
- Background Check
- Adult Protective Services (APS) Check
- Child Protective Services (CPS) Check
Certifications (or willingness to obtain upon hire):
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- CPI or Safety-Care training.
- Building friendships and Community ( Training Required for Community Support Staff).
- Community Mapping training.
